Erik Larsen

Originally based in Los Angeles, Erik Larsen is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, and educator located in New York City. Along with having original compositions and arrangements recorded and performed by CSULB’s award winning Concert Jazz Orchestra, Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, Manhattan School of Music, and the 2018 JEN Conference in Dallas, Texas, Erik has traveled and taught music throughout northern India. Erik received a B.A. in Jazz Saxophone Performance from California State University, Long Beach in 2018, and a Master’s degree in Jazz Composition from Manhattan School of Music in 2021. Erik has studied privately with Jay Mason, Jeff Jarvis, Joey Sellers, Jim McNeely, Miguel Zenon, and Reiko Fueting. Erik is a current member of the 2021-2022 BMI Jazz Composer Workshop in NYC.
